In March 2014, Joe Manganiello joined the cast of the film. In September 2016, it was announced Sasha Lane, Isabelle Fuhrman, Ellar Coltrane and Nick Krause had joined the cast of the film, with Findlay, Frecheville, White, Sangster, Astin and Mamet no longer attached. In February 2019, it was announced Helena Howard, Elena Kampouris and Nick Krause joined the cast of the film.
